Happy February! According to my Google search, February is a unique month—it’s the only month that can add or subtract a day to the year and the only month that can begin and end on the same week day! It’s also a month when we concentrate on love, friendship, giving, and sharing. Thank you for continuing to give your love, friendship and support, this month and every month. February is a great month to continue to tell the children of Chester County about the Savior and His great love for them!
Prayer Points
People to partner with us to go to Friendship Elementary and
Reeceville Elementary, the two remaining Coatesville schools without a Good News Club.
Adults and teens to join our day camp team. We need people in the kitchen, in recreation, Nurse/First-Aid, and team leader and helpers.
Camp store items. New inexpensive items—toys, craft and school supplies, stuffed animals, and balls—always balls!
Day cares, community rooms, churches, homes. We need places to hold 5-Day Clubs—places where children can gather in the summer.
Our after school Good News Clubs continue to reach out to over 440 kids in public elementary schools every week—Fern Hill Elementary (21 enrolled) and Hillendale (13 enrolled) on Mondays. Tuesday—Bradford Heights (8 enrolled) and Kings Highway (53 enrolled). Wednesday—Beaver Creek (12 enrolled) and Caln (42 enrolled). And Thursday—Twin Valley (59 enrolled), East Fallowfield (36 enrolled), Honey Brook (30 enrolled), Rainbow (86 enrolled), French Creek (39 enrolled), and Robeson (44 enrolled).
Furnace Project
Our furnace is dying!
The furnace in the CEF office/house is 35+years old and has begun to leak water. This is a significant and urgent need for the ministry, especially in the middle of the winter! To take care of this need, we are beginning a Furnace Project with a goal to raise $7,000 to purchase a new furnace. Please pray with us, and consider what you may be able to do to help.
