School Year

Good News Club

Good News Club is an exciting program designed to bring the good news of Jesus to boys and girls in the elementary schools. Good News Clubs are held in public schools and meet immediately after school one hour a week from October to March.

For the children who attend, Good News Club becomes a time to gather with friends to learn about Jesus and be encouraged to grow in Him. It  includes songs that are appealing and fun and games that help them memorize a verse from God’s Word. Through the missionary time they learn of other children around the world who are following Jesus. The interactive Bible story applies God’s Word to what is happening in their lives. Club also includes a review game that helps them remember what was taught, and an opportunity to express their faith in  Jesus Christ as Savior is given.

GNCs are taught by CEF staff and teams of trained volunteers. All paid staff and volunteers comply with CEF's Our Beliefs and Child Abuse Policies, as well as PA State requirements.

Good News Clubs are sponsored by CEF of Chester County and are not affiliated in any way with the host school or school district.

Children must have a parent/guardian's permission to attend Good News Club. For a complete list of school Good News Clubs, see our Activities page. Contact your school office for a permission form, or contact CEF of Chester County at 610-384-4120, [email protected], or facebook.com/cefchester.
